This year at BICSI's Winter Conference, Belden's David Stephens, CTS will be presenting on the topic of "What is 4K and how do I Transmit it?" This presentation explores HDBaseT, SDVoE, and AVB transmission solutions and some of the current compression standards.  We will look at the effects of HDR and WGC (Wide Gamut 10/12 bit Color) have in building an immersive viewing experience and the impact these have on transmission.  With so many alliances in place and continuing to develop their solutions, we will look at how integrators are using these differing solutions to solve the needs of their clients.       David W. Stephens, CTS I am currently a Strategic Account Manager for Belden, focused on the Commercial AV and Broadcast clients in the southeastern US. Previously, I was with a distribution partner of Belden's for 10 years, focused on the Commercial AV space. Before that, I was with AT&T for 25 years in various positions acroso the US. I am a CTS holder for 9 years with AVIXA and a SMPTE Member.
