Here's the thing about always being alone or isolated during quarantine:

There isn't really much to report about what's been going on.

For example, I got to chat with some friends from back in Maryland tonight and, I kid you not, we spent 45 minutes just... comparing notes... about what we all had been watching on TV.

"Oh, have y'all watched Better Call Saul?"

"Yeah, totally. So good."

"Yeah... So good."

<silence>

"You know, it's definitely not as heavy as Breaking Bad."

"Oh, definitely not. Totally different tone."

"Right? Such a different tone."

<awkward 10 second pause>

<someone coughs>

"So, uh, Schitt's Creek, anyone?"

"YEAH, yeah, totally. SO good."

"YEAH. So GOOD."

"Mhm..."

<collective sigh>

So, yeah... I, um, have nothing new to report on this fine Saturday evening. (But I do recommend Better Call Saul and Schitt's Creek, if you haven't watched them.)

Well, except for this absolutely atrocious text message I received earlier this week from Narrative SEO founder (and IMPACT technical SEO partner) Franco Valentino:

I just don't know what to do. The more you rebuff someone's dad jokes, the stronger and more forward the dad joke purveyor becomes.

Anyway, here's THE LATEST...

Basic psychology tells us that if our safety needs and belongingness needs are not met, we can not operate on the level of self-actualization. In this article from IMPACT designer Marcella Jalbert, featuring an infographic from Harvard Business Review's Ascend, learn how to cope with the isolation many of us are dealing with, as we continue to work at home and play at home... all the time.
