Hey, Sorry for the silence, my family has been dealing with medical issues which have taken up 200% of my time recently. We are beginning to see some daylight peeling through the clouds - at least in terms of plotting a path back to a more normal work schedule. I hope to resume regular newsletters on Friday week - 30 August - but the situation is fluid. If you need something to read in the meantime, all my books for writers are now 99¢ or less. I actually put them on sale last week for my birthday... but haven't had time to tell anyone yet - such is the nature of things at the moment. Anyway, if you haven't read any of above, now's the time to grab them and save a bunch of cash. These links will take you to the series pages on Amazon USA and Amazon UK. The deals are available globally, head over to my website for other countries. All retailers too - in theory - but SOMEBODY forgot to drop the price at Apple, Kobo, B&N and Google until this morning. (That somebody was me obvs, and I took a week to notice which is a fair reflection of where my head's at.) The price should start dropping in a matter of hours at some retailers, a day or two at others - but the deal is coming everywhere. Again, links at my site above for all retailers and countries. PSA: reMarkable 2 Discounts There's a deal on some great writing tools you might be interested in. You know that I love my reMarkable 2 and have raved about it many times - especially in my 500-day review. (Make sure to check that out, especially the quick video demo at the beach, showing you how I draft something from start to finish all on the one device.) I think it's almost perfect and the only real negative is the cost. But there are great deals right now on the reMarkable 2 device itself, the Marker, and the keyboard Folio. Deals vary globally but I'm seeing up to $120 off if you get the same set up as me. Check out the promo here. That's an affiliate link, just FYI, but regular readers will know my love for this device is real and all-consuming! Okay, back to my one-man Soduku marathon in hospital waiting rooms. Stick with me through this, we have awesome stuff coming in the rest of 2024! Dave P.S. Helping me find much-needed Zen this week is a most beautiful piece from Valter Soll: Brume Matinale. |
