Google's Getting Real About Ad Positions 🤔

Imagine trying to pick someone up from the airport -- but they refuse to tell you where. That's pretty much the experience Google served up to Ads customers before announcing a bunch of new metrics this week. Customers will now be able to more precisely report where their ads are positioned amongst other important data. Account Supervisor Kate Fodera dives into all of the exciting new metrics, in this article. Show me the metrics!

Investors Are Giving MarTech the Cold Shoulder in 2019 💵

It's no secret. The advertising and MarTech market has been flooded with fresh products in the past few years, but all that is likely to change. Due to saturation and GDPR concerns, investors are expected to cut back MarTech funding in 2019. Here's why that isn't necessarily bad news from IMPACT Account Coordinator, Dan Baum.

New Instagram Hashtag API Comes with Limits & Possibilities  #️⃣ 

Reaching #instafame is about to get a little bit harder. This week, Instagram announced its new Hashtag Search API will limit business accounts to just 30 unique searches a week. But don't stress too much, they're also adding & improving a host of other great features for marketing and business users to capitalize on. IMPACT Design Supervisor, Jessie-Lee shares the scoop here.

Weekend Nonsense

Earlier this week, millions across the globe celebrated Diwali, one of the largest (and one of my favorite) Hindu festivals of the year.
