Creating content sucks.
There is no "but" or "yes and" coming after that, so I'm going to say it a little louder one more time for those of you in the nosebleed seats:

"Has Liz lost her mind? Is this a cry for help? Liz, blink twice if this is a cry for help!"
No, I haven't lost my mind. And no, this isn't a cry for help. Instead, I'm finally standing up and saying the one thing most others in our industry refuse to admit.
Even when we know what we're talking about – because we're the experts, right? – for most of us, creating content feels needlessly painful and is an exhausting, time-consuming exercise.
If you are nodding your head in agreement (as you recall months, or perhaps years of content-induced trauma), know that it's not your fault. Also, I'm here to help.
