I've spent the majority of the last two workdays on Zoom.
I'm sure you've been there too. Your days get taken over by Zoom call after Zoom call. Yes, these meetings are all important and you need to be there. But, you would be lying if you said your mind didn't wander over to that ever-growing to-do list on your desk.
It's unfortunate that days like that often lead to us missing out on things we were looking forward to.
Because of my meeting schedule, I wasn't even able to attend Liz's webinar today. The same webinar I talked about last week and was looking forward to.
But, what I have to remember is that there is always a way to get to everything I need and want to do. Even if it means really defending my calendar.
For example, Liz's webinar is already available for free on-demand. So, rather than feeling like I missed out, I know I can dedicate some of my open time later this week to watching it.
