I'm a runner and, believe it or not, I really enjoy running. Yes, that may scare some of you, and in all fairness, I don't blame you.
However, there is a valuable business lesson that comes with running, especially when you run longer distances.
The goal isn't always to run fast.
More often than not, the real goal is consistency. As you can imagine, going out sprinting then burning yourself out won't lead to success in a race. Instead, you want to be able to find a steady, consistent pace all the way through.
It's the same way for businesses, right?
If you go too hot out the gate but can't sustain it, your business won't be built for long-term success.
To do this, you'll need to put together a game plan for your business to be able to grow and scale consistently, which starts at our upcoming event, Scaling for the Future.
