I don't know how he does it. I simply don't know how he does it:

No matter how many hours I spend cleaning and maintaining a tidy household, Ham – AKA Professor Hambone, Hamuel L. Jackson, Hamstel Light, Hamuel Adams – brings me one of my own socks between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. every single work day, no exceptions.

Can you imagine how unstoppable we'd be if we possessed even an ounce of Ham's focused, goal-driven tenacity or his endless capacity to find exactly what it is he's looking for without fail?

Our potential would have no limits. (And thank goodness Ham's world domination plans seem limited to my socks.)

Monday sidenote

Whenever I need a healthy reminder of why I do what I do, I re-read this classic article from Marcus Sheridan about trust being the true currency of any business. Every time I read it, a different passage jumps out at me.

Here is the part that resonated with me when I read it again today:

"In every industry, there are the questions we hope the prospect asks, and the questions we hope the prospect doesn't ask. The companies that become the most trusted voices in their industry lean into the questions that no one wants to answer..."

So, here is your challenge for this week:

Ask yourself, are you building trust by leaning into answering the questions no one else wants to answer? Or are you playing it safe.
