I will continue to not close 94.3% of the kitchen cabinets I open. Because I can.
| | We're all slowly (and safely) starting to emerge from our pandemic fortresses of solitude. I'll admit it's a bit strange to try and rebound from my most isolated, hermit-like tendencies of 2020... which I talked briefly about earlier this week. But let's face it. Whether we're talking about pre-, during or post-pandemic life, there are certain things that will never ever change: - I will forget to close 94.3% of the kitchen cabinets I open.
- A large number of us will always immediately answer "How are you?" with "How are you?" when asked, like a reflex... but somehow neither of you will answer the question. That will be the whole conversation. And it will be awkward.
- There will be people who insist on standing on the left side of the escalator on the DC Metro. Why? Because they want to watch the world burn, it's the only reasonable explanation I can think of.
- Oh, and Google will continue make waves with core algorithm changes that toy with our emotions. And they'll always say it's no big deal. Liars.
