My wife and I recently got one of those trendy new home gym systems (we chose a Tempo) and she's been working out consistently since we got it. I'm so amazed at how she manages to squeeze a workout into her day one way or another.
I've always struggled to "make time" to work out consistently. Somehow, I can always make the time to binge watch a new show on Netflix (wild, right?) but when it comes to working out, I struggle.
As I was flipping through workouts in the app I found one called "10 minutes for 10 days" which focuses on building good habits for long term success. Well dang if that wasn't made just for me!
There's really no reason I can't make 10 minutes in my day to do this. I know I will be better for it. And guess what? The same is true for learning.
Whether you're finally starting that French course or you want to master the art of using video in your sales process, you need to make learning a habit.
Before you know it you'll have made great strides. All it takes are some consistent, small steps. (She tells herself starting at her workout clothes on the floor.)
Put it on your calendar or set a reminder in your phone. Dedicate just 10 minutes a day, every day, to reading that book or working through that course. We can do it together.
