How often do you look yourself in the mirror and say, I crushed it today, good job, me?
While yes, it's a little weird to talk to yourself about how great you are, I'd guess you don't recognize yourself often enough.
For most of us, our reality is that we are our own worst critiques. We constantly nitpick our performance for more areas of opportunity without allowing ourselves to acknowledge that we did a good job!
That's exactly how I tend to be, yet, I am everyone else's biggest cheerleader when they do great work. I think I could've become a certified hype man if I really wanted to, but we'll save that as a side hustle for now just in case.
Recognizing yourself and your peers for great work is a HUGE part of both clarifying what success looks like and motivating each other to continue doing whatever it is we really liked.
The detail that many of us miss or forget about is that recognizing yourself for good work is a big part of your success too!
So take a moment, either in the mirror or in an online community (*cough cough* IMPACT+ *cough cough*) to share something you did recently that we outta be talking about!
