Hey, Can you believe this is the 279th edition of the Decoders weekly newsletter? I'm not talking about launch emails, automations, welcome sequences, culling missives, re-sends to non-opens, or anything like that. I mean 279 info-packed newsletters - from my fingertips to your eyeholes - stretching all the way back to the mythical pre-pandemic era of January 2018, when I switched to this weekly approach. While counting them (I am exactly that kind of dork), I realized there is a lot of good information buried in these emails that's not easily accessible. I try my best to highlight the most useful in the Email Archive but stuff naturally falls through the cracks. Besides, a huge topic like Facebook Ads requires a better approach. Facebook Ads Resources I have built a private page on my site for you guys, gathering together all my Facebook Ads resources for you, and offering advice on how to put it all together. Check out my (free) Facebook Ads Resources here: We cover: - Finding your comp authors
- Writing compelling ad text
- Creating arresting ad images
- Building a winning campaign, step-by-step
- Measuring performance
- Avoiding mistakes which kill ads
And so much more, including a really deep dive on Facebook's Advantage features, basically a guide to surviving Facebook's "helpful" AI features which inadvertently harm your performance. That's a lot of resources covering what I suspect are the biggest problem areas. Just note that the much-awaited update to my Facebook Ads video tutorial is in production - it's quite long and detailed, so it takes some time to put together... but it's happening! BTW if you have any specific feedback on the ad creation process on Facebook, anything you struggle with, I'll make sure the video covers those pain points, if at all possible. Now is the time to let me know by Reply if there is something you realyl want included in the ad creation tutorial. I'd love to get your feedback on the Facebook Ads Resources Page as well, as I want to add more stuff to it. So if there is any area of Facebook Ads you would like to know more about, hit Reply and let me know and I'll do my best. Don't worry, I have plenty of ideas of my own too - and a huge thanks to all the previous feedback you guys sent me before. I might not be able to reply to every single email, but I read everything and my mailbox is the biggest influence over the content of this newsletter, and my author resources generally, so keep it coming. I'll also be continuing with more episodes of the Image Workshop - after some forced time off this year - so you can look forward to that too! Dave P.S. Writing music this week is a nod to this email going out late on Sunday Morning - Nico with I'll Keep It With Mine. |
