I'm constantly cold (just ask any of my teammates who have grown accustomed to seeing me in a blanket) and even carrying grocery bags home is a struggle.    Going into my most recent doctor visit, I knew that I had put on a few pounds. I just knew it. I could feel the difference in my clothing — and my energy level was up.    So when my doctor said my weight hadn't moved since my last visit, you could imagine my confusion and frustration.   How was that possible? I've been tracking my progress in many ways and was so close to reaching my goal. This was a reminder to me of how important it is to have specific metrics in place to track your goals.    We all have goals. Personal ones like trying to gain (or lose) weight, or professional ones like trying to convert more leads or grow your sales pipeline.    But if they can't be measured, you'll be left guessing about your progress.
